You may have discovered the trait of HSP for the first time or you may already be familiar with the book "The Highly Sensitive Person...", by Dr. Elaine Aron. Here, along with some basic information about HSP's, I have also included information about Lightworkers, Indigo's, poetry, creativity, and other topics of interest to the highly sensitive person. The trait of "HSP" has been thoroughly researched by Dr. Aron,* You can check out her website www.hsperson and take the quiz to see if you have this trait. I believe that we are here at this time in history in order to contribute in our own unique way to the manifestation of the new world, the real world by using our gifts and carrying out our role as "priestly advisor", (as described by Dr. Elaine Aron in her book, "The Highly Sensitive Person...") According to Dr. Aron, about 15 to 20% of the population is born with a highly sensitive nervous system, a "finely tuned" nervous system . Dr. Aron says that it is a major, normal, inherited , biological difference in how the entire nervous system functions, affecting every aspect of life. This highly tuned nervous system causes one to process sensory data more thoroughly than a "nonHSP", to be more aware of subtleties, to be very intuitive and conscientious, to have a deep appreciation for music and the arts, to be unusually creative, and to have a rich inner life. HSPs are are much needed in the world today. The Evolution of Man's Spiritual Nature (author unknown) The journey to the realization of God as soul for everyone on this planet and everything in all of manifest creation is actually the evolution of the individualizing structures that manifest Universal Consciousness as individual consciousness. On the physical level, the journey is the process of the Spirit’s unfolding the spiritual capacities located within very specific areas of the human brain and nervous system. These areas are where the soul’s spiritual body impinges on the various nerve plexus of the soul’s physical body. These very specific areas are the gates to the higher levels of awareness that we must develop in order to investigate the Kingdom of God and become aware of the soul’s true nature. It is the Holy Spirit that opens these gates; or more accurately, it is the Holy Spirit that stimulates the growth of the nerve connections within the brain necessary for the soul using the physical body to realize the higher reality. It is no different than learning any new skill. The proper nerve connections must be in place before the skill can be achieved as a part of oneself. The evolution of mankind's consciousness is the gradual process of mankind's nervous system becoming more and more attuned to the Holy Spirit. It is quite apparent to me that the Holy Spirit is the guiding hand behind the evolution of the human species. In another few hundred thousand or perhaps million years the human nervous system will probably have evolved to the complexity necessary for mankind to naturally (any process that innately follows God’s will) and spontaneously develop an awareness of the higher reality and gifts of the Spirit. When one considers that the last species to rule this planet, the dinosaurs, lasted 300 million years, a few hundred thousand to a million years for the human species is but a drop in the bucket of planetary time.
