Good health is extremely important for our happiness and comfort and we need it to accomplish good. We receive, and can "hear" the Spirit of God much easier and more clearly in a healthy, clean body which is His tabernacle, His vessel. We can also compare our bodies to a receiver. If a radio is broken it can not receive the radio waves; likewise if our bodies are sick and broken we can not receive all of the God life that is available to us. Author, Paul Bragg says: "If you are mentally upset, you can walk miles, but if you are physically sick, clear constructive thinking is virtually impossible." Whether it is physical energy, emotional energy, mental energy or spiritual energy, we need energy and we need energy to love and to serve others. So please read on and consider the following information: The first thing we need to do is to follow the laws of nature; to do what we already know to do. The laws of nature, which I call Natures seven doctors, are listed below. It would be wise to first do these things before trying this remedy and that remedy .... go to this doctor and that doctor. Medicines and doctors and supplements etc. can assist us, but there are no magic pills. So if you want to travel along the road to better health, no matter what your health concern may be, there are basic laws of nature that we need to follow.
Back To the Basics! Nature's 7 Doctors 1. Good Nutrition*

Following is some basic nutrition information in a nutshell. However everyone is different, and so you must experiment with foods to discover which foods help you to feel your best. And use your intuition! Here are some general guidelines that I think (most) everyone should follow:
1. Eat natural foods the way God created them - not overly processed by food manufacturers. 2. Eat whole foods, for example, an orange rather than orange juice (though juices have their place.) 3. Eat small frequent meals. "Graze", especially if you tend to have unstable blood sugar; and never eat too much at one time. This puts a tremendous strain on your digestive system and your energy in general. 4. Avoid, or cut down on white sugar, aspartame, and all other artificial sweeteners. Try Stevia or Blue Agave. They are both low on the glycemic scale. 5. Try eating whole grain breads, cereals and pasta, instead of white flour and white flour products These items are among those which create an ACID condition in the body resulting in numerous conditions, one of the most common being candida (yeast infection). White flour products also have no fiber, and few nutrients. 6. Use salt sparingly. Sea salt is best. 7. Use butter in moderation, rather than margarine or other hydrogenated fats. 8. Avoid all products that have any kind of artificial additives in them. Read the labels! 9. Most HSPs are affected adversely by caffeine. Try drinking green tea, herb teas, or decaffeinated, organic coffee instead. 10. Eat LIVE*, preferably raw, or properly cooked foods. Buy organic if possible. 11. A low glycemic diet is best. Most high fiber foods are also low glycemic foods. 12. And whatever you eat, eat with mindfulness and thanksgiving! Always remember that only nature has the power to heal, IF given the proper nutrients which are the building blocks of the body. *Our bodies have an electrical frequency. A healthy body has a frequency from about 62 to 78 MHz, while disease begins at 58MHz. Foods need to be as fresh and alive as possible. It was found that processed/canned food had a 0 frequency, while fresh produce measured up to 15MHz.
Exercise There are three different types of exercise that we need: Aerobic, stretching, and strength, or resistance training. One of the best, most suitable and available aerobic exercise we can do is walking. Experts usually recommend at least twenty minutes three or four times a week. I highly recommend that you walk outside if possible. That way you can also take in the sunshine, fresh air, and the life force all around you, especially if you live in the country. If not, try to walk in a park, or if you're fortunate enough to live near the ocean, you can walk along the beach! Bicycling is also a wonderful aerobic exercise and is so much fun. It is one of my favorite things to do! Strength training is important, especially as we get older. You can buy simple "equipment" for this, or you can join a gym such as Curves (for women). For sensitive people who are also physically sensitive, or of a small build, the best stretching exercise is yoga. There are all kinds of yoga classes and books available. See which one might be best for you. I have been practicing yoga exercises and breathing for over thirty years. The whole yoga philosophy of health is a very holistic approach to life and health. It helps to open up the whole "self" to receive more Light. Water Water should be as pure as you can possibly get it. I believe that distilled water is best. Most people need six to eight glasses each day, or about one half your body weight in ounces. Dr. Elaine Aron, author of "The Highly Sensitive Person", says that HSPs should drink plenty of water, especially during times of stress. If you do this regularly you will notice an increase in your energy and general well being. Also, dehydration can cause depression, chronic fatigue, and many other disorders, according to F. Batmanghelidj, M.D., author of "Your Body's Many Cries For Water". I highly recommend his book. You will be in for a surprise.
Sleep, Rest & Relaxation In this day and age of hyper-activity and stress, most people don't get enough rest. The amount of sleep that you need depends on your level of activity, temperament, health, and other factors. HSPs usually need more sleep and rest than most people. Some of us need from eight to ten hours of quality sleep, plus rest periods and/or meditation or relaxation techniques. I can not overemphasize the importance of relaxation for HSPs.
Fresh Air/Proper Breathing We can live without food for weeks, without water for days, but we cannot live without air, the breath of life, but for a few minutes. To me, there is nothing more exhilarating than being out in the fresh air, whether you are walking, hiking, gardening, biking, or doing anything else you enjoy. Another way that I get oxygen/life force into my body is to do slow, deep breathing. This practice is an excellent way to calm down, and also helps one to sleep if done just before bedtime. I also have learned and practice Transformational Breathing, which is transformational indeed.
Sunshine Sunshine is one of our invisible nutrients. Without sunshine there would be no life. As you may know, some people suffer a seasonal depression called S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder) due to lack of sunlight in the winter months. Sunshine also provides us with vitamin D. So make sure you give Dr. Sunshine a visit every chance you get!
In your meditation, imagine God's healing Light shining on you and throughout your entire body. It really is there. You only have to "claim" it through your imagination, which is the language of the Spirit. So what else can you do to improve your health and well being? As I have said, each of us is different, but generally, sensitive people need to be more careful about their lifestyle than others. However with all the information out there, which is often contradictory, how do you know which "route" to take? Here is a wonderful Prayer/Affirmation that helps to answer that question: Say it often!
God is Healing Me Now (taken from Unity's "Daily Word") "Whether I am experiencing symptoms of a cold or a challenge of a more serious nature, God is with me, healing me and guiding me throughout my healing. The life of God is within every cell of my body, bringing about a healing, and in a cooperation of my mind, body and spirit, I am revitalized. God inspires my thoughts so that each one is in support of the healing activity that is taking place throughout my body. Through the still, small voice I perceive in prayer or through the words of a health-care professional." Last but not least. Each of us is unique. Listen to your body, and follow your Intuition.
What's This About "Frequency"? Frequency is a measurable rate of electrical energy that is constant between any two points. Every living thing has an electrical frequency. Robert O. Becker, M.D. documents the electrical frequency of the human body in his book, "The Body Electric". A "frequency generator" was developed in the early 1920's by Royal Raymond Rife, M.D. He found that by using certain frequencies , he could destroy a cancer cell or virus. He found that these frequencies could prevent the development of disease, and others would destroy disease. Bruce Tainio of Tainio Tech. in Cheney, Washington, developed new equipment to measure the biofrequency of humans and foods. He used this biofrequency monitor to determine the relationship between frequency and disease. Measuring in megahertz, it was found that processed/canned food had a zero MHz frequency.; fresh produce measured up to 15 MHz; dry herbs from 12-22 MHz; and fresh herbs from 20-27 MHz. A healthy body typically has a frequency ranging from 62-78 MHz, while disease begins at 58 MHz.
Holystic Health Quotes
"I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ" from the Holy Bible
"When man was originally placed by his Maker in a paradisiacal garden with its abundance of fruit trees and green leaf herbs, - God provided also invisible food - consisting of pure, undefiled fresh air (the breath of life) laden with the aroma from flowering shrubbery and luxuriant foliage of plants and trees. Clear, sparkling water, running stream, unpolluted by man-made poisonous chemicals, were available year round for man to quench his thirst - and the magnetic-impulses together with electrical vibrations coming direct from the solar rays furnished vital forces for the body. And the good earth added its share of these "invisible foods" for both spirit and body which are inexorably interconnected and require these essentially necessary vital forces for life." - Prof. Arnold Ehret in "A Religious Concept of Physical, Spiritual and Mental Dietetic
"The object of the spiritual journey is the healing of body, mind and spirit." ` Thomas Keating, "Invitation To Love"
"...and may your spirit and soul and body be kept strong and blameless.." 2 Thes. 1:23
"A truly healthy person is full of Light" author unknown
"Of all the knowledge, that most worth having is knowledge about health! The first requisite of a good life is to be a healthy person." ~ Herbert Spencer
The advancement to wholeness is the real occupation of human existence. " ~ Marsha Sineta
The integration of physical healing with psychological and spiritual healing, alone is truly holistic, truly holy..."
"The body, mind and spirit are not separate; they're a unity. To have mental and spiritual health one needs bodily health. Bodily health depends mostly on nutrition. It is that simple; you're not going to be a great, loving, happy person if you're not feeding your body right."
"Salvation is wholeness!"
