If I followed the advice from all the doctors I have been to, including holistic minded doctors, I wouldn't be eating anything at all. One says no gluten.. well, I agree with that one, to a degree; another says no dairy either; another one says no lectins, meaning no beans or rice or even certain vegetables; another says no grains at all; another says no nightshade vegetables.. See what I mean? So what should I eat? I follow my own advice (having studied nutrition, I might add.) and eat "Intuitively", meaning I listen to my body as to what "agrees" with me. And I eat what I feel good about, and what tastes good, and ABOVE ALL, I eat REAL food. I have read and heard so much about food and diets over many years, and learned a lot, but I think that now, in my old age I found my truth about eating and nutrition... at least that's what works for me. If I change my mind (probably after I read another "new" book, or take a another course), I'll write another BLOG and let you know.

My Stories
Jun 3, 2026
My husband and I are Editors of a small community newsletter, and also write monthly articles. My last article was about asking readers to contribute and submit an article , or a "story" that would be of interest to the community. Recently I have been seeing books about "writing one's story", a legacy of sorts to leave for children, or grandchildren. "Old" people, especially, like to talk about their lives, memories, good times, vacations and more , so here I will share MY stories. Years ago I thought about writing an autobiograpy, or a memoir and got started on one, but didn't follow through. But here I will write whatever comes to mind; whatever I feel like talking about, probably including the topics I already have on this website, like HSPs, nutrition, meditation, God, health in general, cats, contemplative living. But not politics... not my thing. As they say, just do what is mine to do. And, oh, no selling. That's not my thing either. So hope you will find something of interest to you, and maybe say, "me too".
